Abstract: How is it possible to make a visit to a museographic setting informative, ludic, and also instructive? This work seeks to find out what museographic orientations with educational objectives have been carried out in aquariums, contextualized with an historical perspective and exemplified in the particular setting represented in the Barcelona Aquarium.
