Abstract: Music underwent a very significant evolution since the end of the last century until now, changing drastically the way we record, play and store audio. This enhancement made possible the spread of digital audio workstations (DAW). These workstations allow users to record, edit, mix and play audio, among many other functions. There is a wide variety of available DAWs for users in the current market. However, these programs present a major drawback: not all of them are translated into Spanish. In addition, companies can translate their software and leave untranslated other materials such as documentation, webpages or plug-ins. It is unknown why this content is left untranslated, but an analysis of how much content is translated into Spanish can be conducted. This research is intended to answer this question and thus four DAWs will be used: Ableton, Cubase, Logic and Pro Tools. Their user manuals in English from United States and Spanish from Spain will be analyzed, a parallel corpus of each program will be created and more frequent terms will be extracted. Following this, the equivalent of each term will be searched for with TBX Tools and a table with the source term, its equivalent in each program and the total frequency will be created.
