Abstract: Parkinson disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder afterAlzheimer disease. It is an idiopathic neurodegenerative, disabling and chronic disease characterized by the presence of motor symptoms (tremor, rigidity, bradykinesia, postural instability, akinesia, dyskinesia, hypomimia, balance disorder and other gait disturbances) accompanied by non-motor symptoms such as pain, depression, anxiety, fatigue, sleep and sensory disturbances. It also affects cognitive functions such as attention, executive functions, processing speed, memory, language and visuospatial abilities and conditions family relationships, environment and leisure. This work aims to achieve an appropriate neuropsychological intervention for a 77-yearold patient diagnosed with dementia associated with Parkinson's Disease (EPD). The neuropsychological evaluation performed reveals deficits in the patient in various cognitive domains such as Attention, executive functions, visuospatial abilities and short and long term memory. With respect to his activities of daily living, he shows some problems in basic activities about hygiene and food and in the instrumental activities that produce autonomy and independence such as the preparation of meals, computer and cell phone handling. We have designed an intervention program of 23 sessions in 14 weeks. The intervention is focused on the patient and his or her environment. The general objective is to preserve the altered cognitive functions, to regulate and improve the behavioral and emotional aspects of the patient and to optimize the performance in the basic and instrumental activities of daily living.
