Abstract: This study has been motivated by the need to know what are the advantages and disadvantages of having an Intensive Support in Inclusive Education (SIEI) integrated into the regular classroom. The center where the study was carried out, located in the town of El Prat de Llobregat, is of maximum complexity, where 100% of the students are of gypsy ethnicity, and 4 years ago became a Learning Community. The methodology used was the qualitative case study, since it was adapted both to the objectives and to the unique and specific context where it was necessary to investigate. As for the instruments, a questionnaire was designed and administered to the teaching team and two structured interviews, one addressed to the management team and the other to the pedagogical coordinator. The main results of the study were that the management team and most of the teaching staff value the advantages of having an integrated SIEI in the classroom, since they see diversity as a richness and inclusion as a tool for the improvement of all students. A SWOT analysis was carried out, showing the need for training the teaching staff and providing the teaching staff with spaces for joint reflection.
