Abstract: Procedural content generation is becoming more and more important in all kinds of games. This final project's purpose is the development of a tool for procedural generation of villages. The most commonly used algorithms for this type of purpose will be studied and the necessary tools will be developed. The project approach will consist on the development of a tool for the Unity engine that will allow setting and defining generation rules through a visual node editing system inspired by shape grammars. This tool will be used to develop all the procedural aspects of the village generator, showing its use and capabilities.
