Title: Abordaje traductológico de un artículo de especialidad híbrida de ciencias de la salud aplicadas a las ciencias sociales: un ejemplo práctico (EN > ES)

Abstract: This Bachelor's Degree Final Project consists in the elaboration of a translation proposal of a fragment of an article of a hybrid speciality of health sciences applied to social sciences, written by Gabe Ignatow (PhD). Based on this case study, we show the strategies adopted and justify our solutions to some of the translation challenges and problems encountered. We present the social, pragmatic, rhetorical and communicative point of view of ceremony and conventions for the analysis of hybrid texts (Aragonés, 2009). These concepts are very clarifying, as well as practical, for the work of reflection and research that translation requires. In addition, they allow the application to all hybrid texts, which is essential since they constitute an increasingly numerous and relevant typology.
