Abstract: In Spain is currently being implemented the Bologna Process to join the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). As one of the main objectives, the EHEA is intended to standardize the studies and specifically the skills acquired by any student regardless of wherever they have studied. Therefore, there are European initiatives (such as the Tuning project) working to define competencies for all the university degrees. The project presents an analysis over twenty universities from different continents to identify models of teaching and learning of non-technical skills. The investigation additionally focuses on written communication skills. The main data sources were the information provided on the websites of those universities and especially their curricula.
