Title: Diversidad de genes bacterianos relacionados con promoción del crecimiento vegetal

Abstract: In recent times, Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) research has developed to be considered as a plausible key tool to soil improvement and biofertilization. The examination of the capabilities of each PGPR strain and their compatibility is essential to reach an optimum knowledge for the accurate management in a determinate soil or crop at equilibrium. This should ensure the sustanaible optimization of bacterial functions. From bibliographical data, the main PGPR genera are considered according to their strengths, nitrogen fixation (Fe nitrogenase and Mo-Fe nitrogenase), indolacetic acid production (pyruvate decarboxylase and indolepyruvate decarboxylase), ethylene reduction (ACC-deaminase), root promotion (nitrite reductase) and Induced Systemic Resistance triggering (acetolactate decarboxylase, acetolactate synthase and diacetyl reductase). Involved proteins in those processes are compared under their native species to know their diversity, evolution and co-ocurrence. Besides, strains are phylogenetically distributed in light of rpoB and gyrB markers to know whether functional diversification is associated. Finally, the relationship between bacterial groups (Alpha, beta and gamma proteobacteria, firmicutes and gram+ high [G+C]) is studied according the main crops for humans (Poaceae, Fabaceae, Brassicaceae, Malvaceae and Solanaceae).
