Abstract: We can define Environmental Criminology as a branch of criminology that studies the space or place and the moment in which a criminal act has been committed. Different theoretical perspectives are those that try to explain and prevent crime from situational influences: the design of streets, buildings, luminosity, the amount of trees, garages, people, etc. All this affects in one way or another the commission or not of a criminal act. At first sight, the Environmental Criminology seems to be very useful for the prevention of crime in the cities, but could it be equally useful to predict those crimes that are committed in a non-physical dimension, that is, in cyberspace?
