Abstract: The debate on women that began at the end of the 12th century fosters a series of pro-feminist and anti-feminist topics that place the female figure at the center of literary interest. From the desire to favor new avenues of reflection on the feminine condition in the literature and in the society of the median age, the objective of the present work focuses on the analysis of the misogynistic discourse present in two works of medieval literature, "El corbaccio" of Giovanni Boccaccio and "Io somni " of Bernat Metge in order to determine the literary synergies that converge in both texts and how they are opposed to the discourse of different female literary exponents of middle age.
