Title: Medic-AR: Diseño y desarrollo de una aplicación móvil con realidad aumentada para el control y optimización del tratamiento médico

Abstract: The objective of the work is to design a mobile application that integrates a layer of augmented reality that allows the recognition and identification of medicines through (OCR). The application will create a profile of (user-patient) in which the most relevant data for a treatment are parameterized. Through our mobile-tablet device, directly activating the camera and using OCR technology, the name of the medicine is recognized, allowing this identification to be validated in a database from which the most relevant information will be recovered to be visualized in the Augmented Reality layer. The medication is linked to the profile of the previously created patient and parameters such as dose, interval, duration, discharge of the leaflet, etc. are shown in the RA layer. It also highlights the functionality of marking shot, which generates an alert on our device for the next shot. Finally, it informs us about the amount of doses available for treatment depending on the medicine selected and the possibility of ordering more product.
