Title: Cultura en clave urbana. Marco conceptual y orientaciones para la elaboración de estrategias y proyectos
Author: Segovia Collado, Chema
Tutor: Pascual Ruiz, Jordi
Abstract: With a predominantly proactive tone and adopting a manual, this TFM proposes a conceptual framework and a series of recommendations for the elaboration of cultural projects and strategies in urban terms. The research is built on the basis of a starting idea: today, intervention in culture and city government need to be thought of in a closely related way. The problems and dynamics that affect the local scale today introduce new elements of attention in the urban agenda, demanding more integrated and transversal ways of acting. In parallel, the cultural field is also complexed and the ways of intervening in it are rethought. Given this confluence, the relations between culture and city lend themselves to being restored through a two-way look: thinking of our cities from the cultural and building new ways of intervening on the cultural field from the urban. The study focuses on the second of these two aspects to understand that to find alternative cultural modalities to those prevailing, more attentive to its context and safe of its own value, acts as a prerequisite to move in the other direction.
