Abstract: | Energy saving and efficiency are key items if we talk about looking after the environment. New power measurement devices remotely readable and other IoT devices allow us to evaluate, control and improve the energy consumption, which is a necessary task in the actual context of clean energy production and responsible energy use. This project proposes an energy consumption monitoring and manage system. This system includes infrastructure configuration and a web application to monitor and manage this power consumption and other building related parameters, like temperatures, as well as people habits to be able to analyse all the data and come up with infrastructure or habit improvements. It will also make possible to save money after reducing power consumption or using the data to look for a better offer for our consumption profile in electricity market. |
