Abstract: The great advances in medicine have allowed to significantly reduce mortality rates, which is producing an important population group that requires a significant degree of dependence that, on the other hand, wants to continue living at home and not moving to a residence. Traditional tele assistance provides solutions when there is a problem with the person (fall or SOS button), but it does not allow to prevent pathologies or accidents in advance. Preventive tele assistance allows to study the behavior of people to define a pattern of behavior that serves as a guide to detect alterations in the conduct of the elderly. To achieve the goal, the project develops a hardware system through the Arduino platform and a set of presence and movement sensors that send to a central server all recollected data, which will evaluate the behavior comparing the data with the previous calculated pattern. The data will be displayed by an Android application and a web application that also allows you to manage the system, configure the set of sensors and installations of the platform.
