Title: Mons Observans : present, passat i futur
Author: Aguilar Alés, Manel
Tutor: Munilla Cabrillana, Glòria
Abstract: This TFM wants to investigate the reason for the musealization and the enhancement of the Roman settlement of Can Tacó - Turó d'en Roina. For this reason I want to be able to give a global vision at the local level of the site in particular, putting in context everything that surrounded it at the time of construction of the settlement. This study wants to clarify the expansive political intentions of Rome that ended up clashing with the interests of Carthage, to interpret the involvement of the Iberians, the fight for the dominance of strategic places, etc. You want to seek and obtain answers through the interpretation of the vestiges of material culture. The investigations carried out in the area have been developing different theories about the Roman settlement, concluding that the archaeological findings require an interpretation, since a priori they are not evident.
