Title: Características del podcasting en las cadenas radiofónicas privadas españolas. Podcast en las cadenas SER, COPE y Onda Cero
Author: Meco Buil, Oscar
Tutor: Niqui, Cinto
Abstract: The main objective of the work is to study the use made by the 3 large general and private radio stations (SER, COPE and Onda Cero) of the podcast format. To do this, we will focus on identifying the number of native podcasts that are available on their online spaces to subsequently analyze some of their most relevant characteristics. In addition, we will identify the number of programs that are broadcast on the radio in the traditional way and that later become part of the online catalog to be consumed in "on demand" format. For the latter, we will pay special attention to whether they are presented integers or if they are presented in a fragmented way. Before this, we will make a theoretical review of the history of radio, the transmission systems that have been used, the beginnings of Internet audio distribution, the current context surrounding the medium and the podcast format as such.
