Abstract: According to the data collection carried out in recent years in different cities, the interest in recreational sailing is growing noticeably, with the certificate of Recreational Craft Master being the most demanded among users in the sector. The main purpose of this work is to design and develop a mobile application for those interested in taking the theoretical exam of the Recreational Craft Skipper certificate (PER). It is a native application developed exclusively for iOS devices (Apple OS). For its implementation, the official IDE "Xcode" has been used, along with the language "Swift". Both of them in their respective official versions. Additionally, third-party frameworks have been used in order to optimize and improve the resources available and the features offered in the application. The design of the app is based on a series of features designed to facilitate and make accessible the use of the application by users. First of all, it is completely free, thus all functionalities are available without paying. Second of all, it is open, hence, it is not necessary to sign up. Lastly, it is intuitive, easy to use and its design is adaptable to all iOS smartphones. From my personal point of view, the set of characteristics shown, the theme used and the low competition in the application sector are ideal for obtaining an interesting result for those users who are looking for a way of learning, practice and information for the PER certificate.
