Abstract: The development of 5G technology will be one of the economic engines of the future, facilitating the economies created thanks to its technology. However, it has reactivated the debate and the concern of certain sectors about the safety of electromagnetic emissions caused by mobile telephone stations. This work is developed from two different parts: A theoretical framework consisting of the review of the technical, medical, legislative and scientific documentation existing up to now in terms of levels of radioelectric exposure associated with mobile radiocommunications technologies and a practical framework consisting of the development of a radioelectric mapping generating tool that allows to evaluate in a simple and intuitive way the theoretical component described in the first part and to be able to provide analyzed results in the analysis of the data from a statistical and geographical perspective. To implement the tool, it has been used to analyze a specific case study for the city of Malaga, where it has been observed that the levels measured from 2004 to 2020 with the deploymentof 2G, 3G, 4G networks in all cases they ensure compliance with current regulations on exposure levels and the measured values are much lower than the maximum permitted values.
