Abstract: | This paper analyses the services of the web portals of the nine municipalities of Val Aran: the municipal websites, the electronic offices, the transparency portals, the open data portals and the citizen participation portals, and how these are related with the sustainable tourism of the territory, specifically within the digital environment. Local administrations must interact electronically in accordance with the current electronic administration regulations. In this sense, they have to promote, through new technologies, a set of actions to prosper and improve the standard of living and quality of its inhabitants, with the aim of reducing existing social inequalities and increasing environmental and socioeconomic as well as sociocultural sustainability. The study responds to the current situation of the local Aranese electronic government (eGovernment), if it is efficient and effective with the information and services offered, and if it enhances the relationship and communication between citizens and society in general. This work is a practical and applied approach on the territory, which provides public managers with a tool to improve the open government situation, focusing on sustainable tourism. |
