Title: Jürgen Habermas i Michel Foucault : dues concepcions de racionalitat
Author: Fuente Méndez, Àlex de la

Others: Universitat Oberta de Catalunya
Abstract: This study intends to show that the debate surrounding enlightened reason, whether it be from a relatively defensive position (like that which the German Jürgen Habermas takes) or a more critical position (personalized in this case by the French philosopher Michel Foucalt), still today, at the beginning of the 21st century, plainly settles the debate about human rationality in general. This piece of work fits within the field of contemporary philosophy, more specifically within the problematic philosophy surrounding Reason, which was born with the arrival of Modernism, later called Post Modernism and now considered Single Thought.
