Author: Villar Peña, Ricardo
Tutor: Cañavate, Germán
Abstract: The present work (which is a TFM, Master's thesis) consists of a systematic review to check whether the smartphone is a psychosocial occupational risk, its possible effects and whether it is possible to prevent them. To make this thesis, we are choosing papers between 2010 and 2020 by searching various data sources with various keywords. So, from among all papers, 19 articles were selected. Subsequently, data were extracted that allowed to reach the conclusions, which indicated that smartphones can have negative effects on workers depending on the use that is given to it and that these negative effects are controllable and removable through some actions. In this work, the concept of the smartphone will be seen, understanding it as ICT (information and communication technology) and how the smartphone influences workers, seeing its negative and positive effects in order to discern whether it can be classified as a risk.
