Title: El tràfic d'espècies en perill d'extinció. Un anàlisi des de la perspectiva de la Green Criminology
Author: Jiménez Perdigones, Elisabet
Tutor: Balcells, Marc
Abstract: The Green Criminology perspective is an approach that arises from the confluence of traditional criminology and the concern for deliberate environmental damage. Based on this idea, bibliographical research is carried out on the crime of trafficking in endangered species, specifically the illicit trafficking of wild fauna and the illicit trafficking of wild flora (especially timber) with the aim of bringing the reader closer to a greater awareness of one of the most serious and widespread events on a global level. The main focus is on the analysis of its scope, internationally and nationally, and on the description of the organisations with jurisdiction for the prevention, detection and eradication of species trafficking at the global and national levels.
