Abstract: The aim of this work is to provide the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya with a system of indicators for incorporating the gender perspective at different levels, both at institutional level and in the different programmes offered. at different levels, both institutionally and in the different programmes taught. As in any educational environment and process, we are faced with a complex reality, "where a large number of actors, actions, relationships and interrelationships intervene, which are difficult to analyse and evaluate as a whole" (Garzón, 2018). For this reason, the existence of a great diversity of legal, strategic and political requirements - internal and external - makes it necessary to propose a single system of indicators that allows the institution to analyse and evaluate those aspects related to equality and equity among the people who make up the university community. This work compiles and analyses these requirements and interrelates them in order to provide a more efficient and comprehensive response that avoids potential dispersion. Based on existing indicators inside and outside the institution, modified and newly created, it proposes a system organised according to the needs and context of the UOC. In the first part of the work we find the theoretical and conceptual foundation on the gender perspective in general and its reflection in higher education institutions, as well as an analysis of the state of the question in the institution under study through a brief historical summary and a SWOT analysis. The second part details the process of interrelation of the different requirements and how this results in their prioritisation. How this process determines the design of the indicator sheet and the collection and selection of existing indicators that respond to them. The modification, if necessary, of some of these indicators, and the proposal of new ones, resulting in a final proposal of 70 indicators.
