Abstract: | The next project consists of the development of a remote irrigation system controlled by SMS messaging, which is capable of, through a series of sensors, obtaining real-time measurements of the state of the land and the environment in which it is located. In this way, a more efficient and sustainable irrigation will be achieved. To carry it out, knowledge related to the Arduino environment and its programming language had to be acquired, as well as a market research for which it is targeted. Subsequently, after designing and implementing the hardware and software of the prototype that has resulted in the final device, the correct operation of it has been verified and the errors corrected, thus achieving the initially proposed objectives. The main objective of this project is to facilitate the work of farmers, reducing the driving time that they need to turn on their irrigation pumps and irrigate their crops , and including different irrigation options and configuration parameters that will allow them to adapt to any of their needs. |
