Abstract: Adaptador de foros web (Foropro) is a final practice which tests the transversal and specific skills acquired during the bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with a major in Computing due to the knowledge assimilated during the different subjects studied has been applied. The creation of this application arises from the need to redesign the surfing experience through interesting web forums whose proposal for the representation of information has become obsolete because of the usability that these pages have can be greatly improved (they do not have a preview of the forum threads) and the obsolescence of the technologies they use (they do not use modern fronted frameworks). The main objective of this project is to improve the representation of the information in the way that the inconveniences that have caused its development gets solved. In this way, this project proposes a frontend which is more usable since it has a thread preview that includes images, YouTube videos and Twitter/Instagram posts. Finally, this project is considered to have a great potential to apply advanced computing techniques on account of the backend part stores around 700.000 forum threads over MySQL database with the configuration of two forums. In this sense, the project has implemented a search engine based on threads indexed in Elasticsearch.
