Abstract: During the last decades, the Public Sector has strategically bet for the Project Management and the Project Manager role to offer new TI services to the citizens. The organisational culture and characteristics of the Administration were key points of the success of using predictive methodologies. This way, they helped to expand it. However, due to the need to offer new services and communication channels to the citizens quickly, the Technological Innovation and the rise of the Digitalization brought a new scenario. In this context, Administrations reacted by deploying the Agile Methodologies. Nowadays, Project Managers can choose either of these methodologies when facing a new project. Nevertheless, these methods are not mutually exclusive. The goal of this document is to create a methodological guide that exploits the main points of both points of view. For this purpose, I will benchmark the management of the same IT project from a predictive approach against a mix of agile practices. Additionally, possible synergies, best practices and a proposal of tools that help the Project Management will be gathered. This will offer better possibilities of sucess.
