Abstract: The growth of the Mobile traffic demand and the new services in recent years have been a challenge for the telecommunications sector, which has been able to adapt and develop different systems that would respond to the requirements set out at all times. This continuous evolution reaches its peak with the design of the new 5G radio access network (5G New Radio) that promises to meet the demands of both users and the network in the medium and long term. Its main features include the increase in bandwidth, the considerable reduction in latency times and the simultaneous connection of a massive number of devices. Likewise, the division of the network into different logical networks is proposed in order to adapt them to the different needs and use cases that may arise. This project carries out an exhaustive analysis of the needs, requirements and characteristics of the design for the next generation 5G network, as well as its architecture, techniques and most representative algorithms that make it the final solution for the problems that have begun to arise in previous technological systems. Likewise, a study of the already existing procedures is carried out and ready for their implementation and also the improvements and capacities that will come in the future.
