Title: La transformación del centro de datos. Seguridad en entornos virtualizados
Author: Álvarez Huerta, Leopoldo

Abstract: In the last decade, the number of devices connected to the network has grown exponentially, which has forced the infrastructures that support them to evolve and provide the services demanded. The accessibility, availability, security requirements and, ultimately, the continuous way of exploiting the services, have had a direct impact on the data centers. This transformation of data centers raises the question of whether current security systems are capable of mitigating threats and, consequently, eliminating potential security breaches. In this TFM, a tour of said evolution of data centers is carried out, at the same time as the evolution of security solutions for these new generation environments is studied. In addition, an analysis of other security measures is carried out, preparing a hardening guide for one of the components of the virtual layer; the hypervisor.
