Abstract: This project aims to show a Business Intelligence solution through the implementation of a dashboard with meteorological data using a BI tool. In a world where digital transformation is the strategic aim for business evolution, BI and IoT are two important elements. Data is the key factor on both technologies, and a good capture and interpretation will enable business to be in a favourable position towards those who do not use them. Project follows PMBOK methodologies and have been divide into two main blocks, based to its scope. In a first block, BI and IoT will be dealt from a theoretical perspective, analysing advantages, challenges, current and future of these technologies. In a second, more practical block, we will place the Raspberry Pi and weather sensors as elements of the IoT and we will use it for capturing and sending data to the chosen BI tool. The result will be a dashboard with real-time weather data. We can conclude that a good identification of the data, the selection of the most suitable BI tool and a good planning in the treatment and configuration of the data will place the business that use it into competitive advantage over those that do not uses it, allowing them to explorer more quickly the possible competitive advantages of the market.
