Visions de la Judit d'Artemísia Gentileschi a Judit i Holofernes: protofeminisme, catarsi o producte del seu temps?

Abstract

Amb la intenció de copsar quina és la 'veritable' Judit que palesa Gentileschi, aquest treball explora i analitza les perspectives més habituals de l'heroïna de Judit i Holofernes a partir d'algunes de les invstigacions més destacades relacionades amb aquest tema. Així mateix, es proposa una comparativa amb altres peces que mostren la figura de Judit 'Judit decapitant Holofernes (1597-98), de Caravaggio, Judit amb el cap d'Holofernes (1616), de Rubens i Judit amb el cap d'Holofernes (?), de Sirani', per tal de contraposar-les a la de Gentileschi i posar de manifest quines són les novetats que presenta la pintora. S'ofereix, en definitiva, un recorregut que pretén arribar a una millor comprensió tant de l'obra com de la seva autora.

Con la intención de captar cuál es la "verdadera" Judit que patente Gentileschi, este trabajo explora y analiza las perspectivas más habituales de la heroína de Judit y Holofernes a partir de algunas de las invstigacions más destacadas relacionadas con este tema.
