Abstract: Huntington's disease is a serious neurodegenerative disease, for which there is no cure. It is a genetic disease that has its origin in the huntingtin gene. This work aims to find molecules that can be used to treat the disease. Specifically, we are looking for molecules that serve as inhibitors of proteins related to Huntington's disease other than Huntingtin. To do this, a series of proteins that have studies that demonstrate the relationship with the disease were searched, creating databases from the inhibitors described for these proteins. The chosen proteins were PDE10A and MAOA. Subsequently, a Cribado virtual is carried out, to check if they bind efficiently to the target proteins. Finally, the pharmacokinetic properties and toxicity of the selected molecules were analyzed in order to screen those that can be used as a drug. Thanks to the work carried out, a total of 18 candidates with better properties than known inhibitors have been obtained for their study as a drug for Huntinton's disease.
