Abstract: The research proposes the analysis of film festivals in face-to-face and hybrid modality, in order to know the possible similarities and advantages of applying the techniques offered to stakeholders. Festivals are socially or culturally complex events that recur occasionally or vary as much as the complexity of daily life itself varies (Gerrard, 2000). From the milestone marked by the pandemic (SARS-CoV-2) and its subsequent global crisis, the interest to investigate in depth the different styles of events was born. The economic impact that this unprecedented situation has had in the event organization sector has been of great magnitude (Estanyol, 2020). This work has been located within the following areas: " The development, results and existing similarities between three large face-to-face and hybrid festivals in the cinematographic environment of the Spanish State" The incidence of virtual processes in branding and networking environments. The first approach analyzes three major film festivals included in the list of competitions regulated by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF, for its acronym in Spanish): San Sebastián, Sitges and Bilbao, in its 2019 edition and newspaper material from the 2020 hybrid editions. The second approach refers to the importance and changes registered in this type of event as an instrument for transmitting the brand values of participating organizations and sponsors, as well as the exchange of professional information and the establishment of connections between attendees. "The number of festivals has grown dramatically in recent years, so that almost all cities in Spain and the rest of Europe have one or more festivals dedicated to some artistic manifestation" (Devesa, 2009). The presence of organizations in film festivals as a sponsor or organizer guarantees the association of "the corporate brand itself to an event of national and international prestige with a track record of excellence", a premise published by the San Sebastian Festival in a statement Press (2018), applicable to the rest of the film competitions that are the subject of this study.
