Title: Modelo de gobierno de SI/TI en empresas líquidas y altamente especializadas
Author: Castaño Delgado, Pablo
Tutor: Alcalá Gómez, José Rafael
Abstract: Current IT governance frameworks can be hardly applied to liquid and highly specialised companies, which has engendered the creation of a new framework. This company model has proliferated during the last years under consolidated companies, as a provider of specialized services and products for them. These companies are characterised by their recent creation and small size and make use of agile management principles. However, they have immature processes and very limited resources. After identifying the basic features of such enterprises, the main IT governance requirements for them have been established. Subsequently, considering such requirements and the main objectives that the IT governance should satisfy, a set of IT governance best practices has been established, ensuring their alignment with the business needs. In order to being able to efficiently implement the set of best practices, an IT governance implementation strategy has been developed, which is based on agile principles. Such strategy uses a continuous improvement iterative process, along with an incremental maturity model. With the goal of ensuring the validity of this IT governance framework over time, their evolution paths have also been identified, for the purpose of ensuring its adaptation to the changes in the business needs. Lastly, basic principles for the correct supervision of the IT governance framework implementation have been established.
