Abstract: The objective of this work is to design a bicycle sharing system, which encourages its use by rewarding good behavior and safety of the routes (signed intersections, traffic lights), with a discount on the rental cost. The data obtained during the route can be used to manage the rental system, knowing by the company the number of bicycles in circulation, as well as where they are parked and improving the management of the service. For this, the bicycles will have different sensors, which through IoT devices will transmit the data of the route such as position, speed, as well as road safety data, through an LPWAN network.
