Abstract: | Objective: to evaluate the impact that a Music Theatre educative project has in the development of the emotional and social competences in the pupils of Primary Education. Method: is a mixed one, with an ex-post-facto type in which, the object of evaluation is the development of the emotional and social competencies of Primary Education pupils that participated in the Musical theatre project, and the impact that this project had on the mentioned development. It was administered interviews and discussion groups to non-probabilistic group of 20 teachers. A postest questionnaire was administered to a representative group of pupils that participated in the musical theatre project. Results: According to the teachers, the most developed emotional and social factors are: emotional awareness, control of the impulses, optimism, empathy, collaboration and cooperation. The Stage Arts subjects develop 20 emotional and social factors, the bilingual subjects develop 11 and the core subjects develop 8 ones. Conclusion: the Music Theatre educative project has an impact on at least 11 of the 20 emotional factors that the questionnaire evaluates, between 77.26% and a 95% of the students. The subjects related to the Stage Arts are the better ones that develop the emotional factors. |
