Abstract: | Teleworking has increased exponentially in companies worldwide as a result of the pandemic of COVID-19, although this modality had already been increasing in the last decades in developed countries. Telework as any type of work modality can present occupational risks that can trigger physical and mental disorders, and even diseases. The objective of the present study is to analyze from the investigative perspective if there exists influence of the telework in the syndrome of Burnout, as well as some characteristic of the teleworker and of the conditions and factors inherent to the telework. In order to carry out the mentioned investigation, a survey has been made through the tool Google forms, in which sociodemographic questions have been included, on the labor conditions of the telework and the questionnaires of measurement of Burnout: MBI (adaptation to the Spanish language published to the NTP 732) and CBB (published in the Magazine of Psychology of the Work and of the Organizations, 1997). The results of the present investigation were analyzed quantitatively using the SPSS data processing and statistical analysis program. In addition, at different times, the information has been expanded with the descriptive analysis of the results extracted from the aforementioned survey. According to the extracted results, it can be concluded that the modality of teleworking does not influence the Burnout syndrome, but instead it is related to this disease several conditions of ergonomics and space, lack of planning in the implementation of teleworking and mastery of ICT. Add that it has been found that most teleworkers have noticed changes in their health and behavior as a result of teleworking, but, even so, a large volume of employees prefer to continue working under this modality in the future. |
