Abstract: In the last few years, Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the technologies which has progressively increased its use and, in addition, it has facilitated the development of educational materials. It is used by teachers and students in classrooms, improving the experience of both and the teaching-learning process through gamification, making it closer and cooperative. For example, thanks to AR on the screen of a smartphone, real images, captured by its camera, are mixed with virtual objects (three-dimensional models) to interact with them in real time. Keeping this is mind, the main objective of this project is to incorporate AR into a didactic unit of Technology subject in the first year of Compulsory Secondary Education. For this purpose, a mobile application will be developed, following a cascade development methodology, for Android operating system, which it is able to recognize a number of markers (AR level 1) and scanned objects, a protoboard, (AR level 2 or markerless) and it will allow students to interact with basic electrical circuits and their components. AR, by its three-dimensional models, provides added value compared to conventional or traditional didactic resources (schemes, graphics...). Moreover, it contributes to personal academic development and to creating an educational technological culture that implies a change in the way of teaching and learning. As a result, a fully functional application for Android has been obtained, as well as a didactic unit. Both resources provide a new learning experience at the teachinglearning process.
