Abstract: This project is a web app to manage a film festival's database and schedule. After 15 years working at film festivals such as the one on San Sebastian, Seminci at Valladolid or the one at Seville, I've realized that there's a need to optimize certain processes regarding the programme of each edition. This process is manual at all the film festivals, so it's a very slow and inefficient process. Taking this into account, the aim of this web app is that all the departments of a festival can have access to a unique database where they can work only with the information they should manage. The most powerful feature is the one regarding the programme, in which, considering all the information given by each department, it can automatically create a first version of the programme that can be modified by the corresponding content curator. These are the technologies used for the development of the web app: HTML for the structure of the web, CSS with Vuetify framework for the styles, NodeJS and Express framework for the backend, MongoDB with Postman and Mongo Compass for the databases, VueJS for the frontend. These technologies are part of the MEVN full stack (Mongo, Express, Vue, Node), so the app will be a reactive web app, which is going to give a better user experience.
