Abstract: Presentation of a case of a four year old child whose symptomatology is compatible with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as comorbid language disorder. The neuropsychological evaluation shows a normal cognitive profile, except for the lack of the ability to speak. Even though language comprehension appears within regular parameters. Adaptation to the school environment is particularly difficult. Although this difficulty is not as severe in the family context. Treatment is led to work on all difficulties as a whole, through interventions based on empiric evidence. To treat the speech, parents are trained with aims based on The PACT method, the Hanen programme and with Systems of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (SAAC). Social and relationship difficulties are treated with psychoeducation, focused on mind reading programme through practical cases and real-life based situations. Adaptation to school environment difficulties are treated with tools based on The TEACCH programme. Those tools are led to create a more foreseeable and structured environment through adding visual supports at school. All these measures are expected to bring a global improvement on the child's functioning and adaptation.
