|This project responds to the need of a university of the Catalan University System to adapt to new legal regulations, specifically to Royal Decree 822/2021, in relation to the monitoring of official bachelor's and master's degree programs, in the scenario of institutional post-accreditation. For this purpose, theoretical, methodological and normative documentation has been located and analyzed, and international references have been consulted. The needs and expectations of the agents involved in the University of reference have also been gathered through discussion groups with academic managers, technical staff and students. As a result, the main lines of a methodological proposal for program self-evaluation were drawn up, based on the impact of external evaluation on the configuration of self-evaluation, the periodicity, scope, criteria and reports of self-evaluation, the role of the information system and the participation of students. It can be seen that external evaluation continues to have a determining weight in the self-evaluation of programs, since it observes in great detail their development and results. The University has no choice but to adapt, but it can emphasize the internal logic of monitoring by reinforcing the definition of institutional policy, internal quality assurance systems, quality management tools and quality culture.
