Abstract: | The approach to this final master's thesis is based on personal experience. As a founding member of a dance academy, when it came to setting up small- format events such as weekend events or end-of-year festivals, no technological solution was found that satisfy the needs of organizing and managing the event tickets. This project has prioritized deepening the knowledge acquired in the current studies. For this reason, it has been decided to make an application from the beginning, as a new product and not as an adaptation of any existing product. The main objective of this project is to develop an application for Android to help the organization and management of small format or amateur events with basic functionalities such as user identification according to their role, generation and reading QR codes for ticket management and identify reservations associated with event promoters and filter them by promoter. Firebase has been implemented as a Backend with authentication, database and storage services. And the application has been developed following the MVVM development pattern. Once the project is done, it can be concluded that the main goals have been achieved and an application for managing small format events has been obtained. |
