Abstract: For some years we have been hearing about the Bitcoin and how its value is growing, whether it is mere speculation or if it is really true that a small part of the population has changed their lives thanks to this digital currency. Today, a large number of cryptocurrencies have been created, which try to replicate and improve the functionality of this one, since, within the world of the 'blockchain' or blockchain we can perform different actions without intermediaries such as banks taking part. In order to carry out what we call 'trading', such exchanges have been created. They are virtual trading platforms with cryptocurrencies which enable consumers (traders) to carry out operations of buying and selling cryptocurrencies and/or exchanges of one type of cryptocurrency for another or for real money. In this way we can buy or sell the cryptocurrency we want in the same way as it happens in the currency market, where we make conversions from one to another. The purpose of this project is to apply the User-Centered Design (UCD) methodology to analyze the MetaTrader4 application, in order to know its shortcomings and the needs that the user has. The definition of user profiles and information architecture will be carried out with the intention of creating different redesign proposals and/or prototypes that will be developed and evaluated through usability for end users. The final result of this project aims to improve the user experience, so that the end user feels comfortable, safe and knows at all times where he/she is and what operation he/she is performing.
