Title: Evaluación del grado de adecuación de la evidencia mHealth en adherencia al tratamiento antipsicótico respecto a criterios mERA de la OMS

Abstract: Objective: To determine the percentage of studies conducted on adherence to antipsychotic treatment based on mHealth tools antipsychotic based on mHealth tools that follow the quality criteria established by the WHO in 2016 for their implementation. Methodology: A literature search was conducted through the PubMed electronic database with publication dates between 2016 and 2021. Randomized trials of adults diagnosed with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder with any antipsychotic treatment adherence outcome were considered. Study interventions had to be primarily mHealth, We assessed study quality using the checklist defined in the WHO guideline for reporting mHealth interventions. Results: From a total of 124 articles, 11 were selected that were mHealth interventions that included the variable treatment adherence. The most commonly used technology was text messaging (SMS). None of the studies met the WHO checklist. Conclusions: There is a lack of adequate, systematic, and useful manuscripts on mHealth interventions in antipsychotic treatment adherence.
