Author: Merizalde Polo, Andrés Marcelo
Tutor: Ginés Bataller, Laura
Abstract: This document explains the development process of the Digital Design and Creations Degree final project in the Interaction Design category. The proposal of this project is an app for children between 6 and 9 years old, which allow them to learn about personal finance in a fun and gamified way. The challenge is to offer a mindset and experiences that help to internalize concepts related to finances such as savings, debt, in- terest, among others. It also seeks to promote other related skills such as perseverance, perseverance, administration, planning, reflection, and especially sustainability. The work methodology comprises a series of techniques relat- ed to HCD (Human centered design) which are grouped into 4 phases: research, analysis, development of ideas, and design and prototyping. The result is an ambitious project that offers a new approach about finance literacy in a more fun, closer and tangible way for the target audience. A necessary proposal to open the debate regarding the relationship and awareness that future generations will have with finances and money towards a more just, balanced and sustainable society.
