Abstract: Dual Vocational Training is a modality that combines teaching-learning in the company and in the training center, and allows for more significant learning because the activities are carried out in real workplaces. It also represents a way to ensure the future future availability of qualified workers. The low number of intermediate qualifications in Spain due to over-qualification requires a doubling of the number of intermediate qualifications in Spain due to over-qualification. The challenges are to reduce youth unemployment and to improve employability by adapting the training of adult workers with low qualifications. The current system distinguishes between Initial Vocational Training (under the Ministry of Education) and Occupational Vocational Training (under the Ministry of Education), and differentiates between students and apprentices.
