Title: Disseny e implementació d'una aplicació d'identificació de cims amb realitat augmentada

Abstract: In recent years, outdoor activities have experienced an increase in popularity among the public. This increase has had negative consequences, such as an increase in the number of accidents or those resulting from overcrowding. Regarding technology, the popularization of GPS receiver devices and smartphones have made several utilities available to users, among which we find peak identification applications using augmented reality. Unfortunately, in its current state, we consider that its possibilities are not sufficiently exploited and remain as simple curiosities. The purpose of this TFM consists in the development of an augmented reality viewer that will not be limited to showing geographic information, but that it will be shown properly organized and categorized so that it becomes useful. Complementary information will also be shown, depending on the available sources, to facilitate a more sustainable and rational access to natural spaces. The development of the software will allow experimenting with the possibilities of using diverse data sources and checking their representation in augmented reality on a geographical basis.
