Abstract: Smart Global Manufacturing's purpose is the use of web technology, in the management of efficiency in production processes, offering the user information based on the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) calculation. This is a very widespread indicator when it comes to knowing the real-time performance of production lines and being able to measure the result of possible impacts of the improvements applied. An application development methodology is established, based on various web technologies, which facilitates both the development and maintenance and scalability of the platform. The use of the MQTT communication protocol to collect production data makes it possible to integrate devices typical of the technologies applied in the industry, such as PLCs or other controllers that, in recent years, have adapted to the protocols of the concept M2M (Machine to machine) widely used after the appearance of the Industry 4.0 concept Finally, we have obtained a minimum viable application that allows us to validate the platform as a functional and scalable tool to different realities, being able to respond to corporations with production plants around the world and, in turn, adapt costs to the needs of local companies.
