Abstract: The objective of this final degree project is to realize a “Survival Horror” videogame using Unity’s graphics engine. By using this graphics engine, it wants to achieve a first-person gameplay with a three dimensions feature. It chooses horror genres because it wants to accomplish a final product which can create a tense atmosphere while it has a great narrative. To obtain the best results it is going to work with a waterfall methodology, together with different techniques to get feedback as, for example, users test. As a result, you get a video game with a horror theme and survival characteristics that the player will be on a map, with limited resources, where he will need to achieve objectives to be able to go through and being able to escape from the dark and dangerous hospital. During the adventure, the user will must explore with caution every corner around him. Finally, a first level of a hypothetical video game is accomplished, which is considered that achieve the objective of this kind of software: being able to scare and distress the player. It's a product with a good resolution and quality, and also with a mechanic that can be played by not an expert public.
