Title: Desinformació en comunicació científica en l'era Covid-19
Author: Sanz Hernández, Maite
Tutor: Niqui, Cinto
Abstract: Disinformation is not a new phenomenon, and neither are science and health disinformation. However, the scope of disinformation linked to infodemics has reached unequalled levels, parallel to the coronavirus pandemic, also creating a niche for negationist movements and conspiracy theories that were low profile until that moment. Also in a parallel manner, these facts have triggered a flood of academic papers that attempt to offer answers in terms of causes, determining factors and solutions to this matter. The current work compiles and critically compares this available bibliography from a multidisciplinary perspective, gathering the factors and roles involved in the origin, dissemination, and mitigation of scientific disinformation.
