Abstract: As the first quarter of the 21st century draws to a close, the most developed societies have established a new order in which technology takes on a preponderant role. The revolution in computing brought about by the invention of computers reached a key point in the second half of the 20th century with the invention of the telematic networks that would give rise to the Internet. Today, the largest repository of content and processes ever known to mankind has become the main stage for activities as fundamental as economic transactions, espionage, mass communication and data custody for large multinationals. The Internet, strongly driven by satellite connections and increasingly powerful and sophisticated terminals, has become present in the lives of millions of citizens who interact with connected applications and download large volumes of data without even intuiting the nature of the processes that promote them. The impossibility of being part of these societies without having a network connection, and the enormous ease with which the Internet makes it possible to disseminate content, has generated a current in which impulses and calls grow in geometric progression, turning users' attention into a coveted treasure. In return, individuals have to adapt too quickly to a new logic in which there is a tendency to have everything at all times. A sort of scenario in which space and time vanish and actions can be invoked from the immediacy, without moving from our cabin. An enormous construct in which everything is arranged so that we are always attentive, always available, always connected.
